Letter of Reference from Rachel: MIGRAINES, BACK PAIN, SEVERE PMS

It is indeed a pleasure to I write a letter of recommendation for Emi Miller.  Over the seven months that she has been my doctor I have achieved greater health than I have had since childhood.  Not only am I free of the chronic problem that originally brought me to her, I have found relief from other health concerns, am better able to care for myself, and am more firmly on my path to realizing and living my dreams.  In short, I experienced healing in the full sense of the word.

When first going to see Emi in November 2003, I had been suffering from chronic migraines for 4-5 years.  I experienced at least 6 migraines a month and was dependent on Zomig, a triptan type drug, for relief.  In addition, I suffered from back pain, severe PMS, was overweight, depressed, and had food related mood swings.  I also suffered from some minor symptoms including yellow/gray skin coloring, dark circles under my eyes, bloodshot eyes, a chronic mild cough, sneezing upon waking, a constant runny nose and digestive problems.

In attempts to find help I went to see my general doctor (who is an osteopath and MD), a neurologist, a mid life health specialist (the most highly regarded at University of Virginia Medical Center), a therapist, a psychiatrist, a medical intuit, a chiropractor, a network chiropractor, and a nutritionist.  I also received massage and energy work.  Although I found some relief and learned many valuable lessons from all of these health workers, I was still very ill. Most either didn’t believe the severity of my symptoms and/or couldn’t offer me help.  I had lost hope of getting better and began the painful process of accepting my illness as permanent.  When my husband and I decided it was time to start a family, I needed to stop taking the pharmaceuticals. So I began again searching for help. That was when Emi was recommended to me.

In the beginning I found Emi’s methods difficult.  I stuck with it and as the months progressed, I began to feel more and more relief.  My mind became clearer and hope returned.  I had strength and vigor for life’s tasks and eagerly awaited my visits with Emi and her next batch of advice.

Now I am almost migraine free.  The ones I have had are much less severe and treatable with aspirin and rest.  I have lost 20 pounds, my menstrual cycles have become pain free and manageable, my color has returned to a healthy pink, the mood swings are nonexistent, I no longer cough or sneeze regularly and the back pain is almost gone.  On top of all this Emi has helped me heal some of the trauma of my past.  All this healing and advice has given me the strength to believe I can realize my dreams and have begun to do so.

Seven months ago I went to Emi with a full blown migraine that a double dose of medication could not abate.  I was borderline disabled.  Now I am new woman.  My friends and family comment constantly on how wonderful I look and how great it is to see me so healthy. After years of guessing, now I have a clear idea of how to take good care of myself.  I have Emi to thank for this and will be grateful to her for the rest of my life.  I highly recommend her to anyone who believes that they could be healthier and are not sure how to get there.  She will ask a lot of you but you will receive 100 fold in return.  I wish Emi continued success and am glad that she will continue to help and heal others as she has me.

If you should need any additional information please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
Rachel
