I am writing this as a recommendation for Emi Miller, who has been my principal health-care provider for almost a year.  I was referred to Emi after experiencing almost a year of diverse symptoms that included chronic fatigue, recurrent upper respiratory infections, irritated intestines, constant diarrhea, pounding pulse, and severe weight loss. I had spent several thousand dollars and received many tests, but none of the doctors I’d worked with were able to propose a diagnosis, or a treatment.
Emi approached my condition like a detective would a set of clues. She began with a rigorous board of tests to conclusively rule out any of the more familiar illnesses that might have been afflicting me, and simultaneously began working with my diet. What she uncovered, in a very methodical approach, was several different disorders – a diversity of viruses in the mono family, gluten intolerance, and stress from a type A lifestyle were the first things we addressed.
She began a twice-weekly treatment using moxabuxtion, a form of Hand Energy work called, Te A Te, while interviewing me closely on my diet and lifestyle. After about two months in Emi’s care, I began to gain weight, the loose stools abated, and I started to see the monotony of constant fatigue begin to break up. Additionally, through her skillful use of herbs, I was able to ward off the upper respiratory infections when they presented, rather than having to exhaust my system by going deeply into crisis. I actually made it thought a difficult cold and flu season without ever getting ill, which is unheard of for me.
After a few months in her care, I had arrived at a place where my diet was stable, I had regained all the weight I’d lost, and was able to begin to function at my work (I am the owner of a construction business). I have continued to gain weight since then (I’ve always been extremely thin) Emi suggested at this point that I see a chiropractor about an Atlas adjustment for the pounding pulse that I was still experiencing. I did so, and experienced dramatic improvements.
I feel that Emi has immeasurably helped me through a difficult and enigmatic illness. I can honestly say that I’m not sure what I would have done, or what might have become of me without her care.  Her diversity of talents and her persistence combine to make her a significant agent in the service of wellness. I cannot recommend her strongly enough. Please feel welcome to contact if I can be of any assistance in discussing this recommendation.
Sincerely,
Alec
