Letter of Reference from Kent – Ruptured quadriceps tendon injury, Dietary Advice for Weight Loss and Spiritual growth

Introduction to Emi Miller, R.N., HN-BC, L.Ac

I am writing to friends and other good people, with both sadness and pleasure, to say that out loss is your gain. My neighbor, Emi Miller, will soon become your neighbor.

We have known Emi Miller during the years that she has been in Charlottesville first as a suitemate across the hall in the Charlottesville Wellness Center – – which houses a family and preventive medicine practice and providers of occupational health, wellness, dentistry, psychology and mental health, massage, shiatsu, sensory awareness, zero balancing, hypnosis, reiki, family counseling, and other healing arts.

Emi has earned a reputation as a skilled healing practitioner who has created her own unique synthesis of Western and Asian Medicine Diagnosis and therapies, Naturopathy, Moxibustion, Intuitive diagnosis, counseling, energy work and hands-on healing. She has provided expert and skilled care to many professional colleagues in the Wellness Center  as well as to our community. As a patient she has helped me with a variety of issues ranging from divorce resolution and stress management, to acute care for a ruptured quadriceps tendon injury, dietary advice for weight loss and spiritual growth.

Emi quickly built a solid practice of devoted clients, who have willingly given her rave reviews. In my experience I have found her able to quickly discern the deepest needs of her clients’ bio-psycho-social-spiritual growth. She is a lovely woman of good taste who can be direct, honest, fair, generous, playful and a true friend.

Emi has also given a number of community presentations and workshops, as well as lecturing to executives in our corporate wellness programs. She is able to convey “soft” material in tangible ways to engineers, physicians and lay people.

It is with sadness that we will see Emi depart Charlottesville, feeling confident that she will remain in touch with her friends and colleagues. Please treat her like the great gift that she is, welcome her into your hearts, and take advantage of the rich resources she brings.

In good health and with best wishes,

Kent, MD
